As a representative of my organization, by registering to participate in Sacred Spaces’ Aleinu campaign, I recognize that Aleinu is not a certificate or accreditation from Sacred Spaces. Aleinu is an educational platform to provide resources to my organization. It is up to my organization and my community to ensure that we complete all ten Best Practices and continue to implement them in the long term. My organization is responsible for leading this work in my community.

I understand that progression through Aleinu can increase the safety of children in my organization and reduce the risk of children being harmed; however, no one can prevent all bad actors from acting, and no one can guarantee safety.

I understand that no matter how diligently my organization implements Aleinu’s Best Practices, these efforts cannot sufficiently protect children if we are aware of a known risk to children’s safety, and are not addressing that risk.

I understand that if my organization has past, current, or future cases of child maltreatment, currently known or unknown, it is my organization's responsibility to address them. Aleinu has tools and resources on responsibly handling incidents of child maltreatment and it is my organization’s responsibility to properly respond.

I understand that my organization’s name, location, and logo may be featured in online and print materials for Sacred Spaces and the Aleinu campaign.
